NIXON LIBRARY

Richard Nixon Library and Birthplace Docent Guild

Tech Associate | Web Master | Graphic Designer | Video Producer

As the official webmaster for the Richard Nixon Library and Birthplace Docent Guild, I oversee the website’s design, functionality, and updates, ensuring a clean and accessible experience that reflects the Guild’s mission and values. I also serve as the lead creative, designing digital and print materials to support events, outreach, and internal communications

In addition, I’ve produced a variety of video content for the Library — including event recaps, informational segments, and promotional reels for meetings, the website, social media, and even local television. These videos help extend the Library’s educational reach and engage broader audiences through thoughtful storytelling and motion design.

Proud to contribute creative work to an organization dedicated to preserving and promoting the legacy of President Richard Nixon and American history.

Website Redesign & Hosting Optimization

In 2024, I led a full redesign and migration of the Docent Guild website, moving it to my own secure hosting environment. This transition not only significantly improved site performance and mobile usability but also saved the Guild hundreds of dollars annually in hosting fees.

The updated site is fully responsive, offering a clean, mobile-friendly experience for users of all ages. I also ensured the platform meets accessibility standards, improving navigation for members and guests with a range of abilities. The updated layout simplifies how events, resources, and internal communications are presented — helping the Guild better serve current docents and engage new members online.

Website Highlights:

Complete redesign for clarity and ease of use
Migration to cost-effective hosting with SSL security
Mobile-first, fully responsive layout
Improved accessibility and ADA/Section 508 compliance
Streamlined content for faster navigation and updates
Integration with digital forms and event resources

This redesign aligns with the Guild’s mission to remain accessible, professional, and forward-facing — while honoring its historical foundation.
